Posting Pipes/Adding Machine

This lovely adding machine is a great resource for enabling EYFS children to practice simple mathematical equations & explore number bonds.

Using an adding machine, children can look at two numbers going in to the machine and work out what the answer is going to be.

There are then some more challenging questions, where the children see a number from the addition calculation removed and predict the answer.

The adding machine comes with function ’tiles’ that can be moved to create different sums allowing you choose which one is best for the children in your class.
