Remember that lovely summer break with long sunny days, lie-ins & grown-up conversation….??
Yes we know it does feel like a zillion years ago but it really wasn’t that long since the summer. Well, before we all get geared up for the big C, we’ve an absolutely wonderful time of year to enjoy. Imagine this…crunchy leaves, rustic colours, big woolly scarves, hot chocolate, marshmallows on the fire & a plethora of animals getting ready to hibernate for winter! Yes. Autumn. A beautiful season and there are numerous opportunities to transform the wonders of nature into the classroom.
And so we’ve collated our favourite top 10 Autumn activities just for you, but please please do add your own favourites in our comments. This could be a list of 100 activities! Now that would be very exciting 🙂
Don’t forget to get the children involved in the preparation too! Collecting leaves and finding things from the great outdoors is all part of the fun!
We’d love to see your creations from our top 10, so don’t be shy, share with us here or on our Facebook page.
Thanks for sharing. I read many of your blog posts, cool, your blog is very good.
